Our story

Writers need a second read before they need a subscription.

I'm Johnny Mobley. I started building systems for other people in 2000, when I was 16, and I've been doing it ever since. Along the way I automated most of my own work, and the tools I built for myself became these companies. Each one runs on rules I wrote down, not on paid AI calls, which is why it can cost so little.

When you've written an opening chapter, the first thing you want to know is what's working and what's dragging. I built Literacraft's feedback tool to read an excerpt you paste in and come back with what works, the biggest structural or pacing problem, and one concrete thing to try.

It runs on written rules about the text itself, like sentence rhythm, dialogue balance and repetition, so it reacts to what you wrote and never writes your story for you. It is not a human editor. Next to it is a book search over Open Library's catalogue, for checking titles, authors and editions.
